The name Co-Optrade was an amalgamation of co-op and trade. Co-op means "a cooperative society, business or enterprise"and Trade"exchange of information, ideas, skills, and services." We imagine a community of innovators, creators, entrepreneurs and builders shaping the world of tomorrow. Mastering technology for human progress not the other way around. Today, cyberspace connects many different communities in ways we can only image a few years ago. With your help, we will make the Co-opt inspiration a reality. Few would recognize the humble origins of many major corporations of today, the leaders that brought them to life and, the way these corporations have influenced our way of life and economy.
