Aemetis means âThe One Prudent Wisdomâ, referring to the prudence and wisdom of replacing petroleum with renewable fuels and chemicals. The Aemetis name is derived from the Scottish âAeâ, meaning âthe oneâ, and the Greek âMetisâ who was the mother of goddess Athena, meaning âprudent wisdomâ.
