Community West Bancshares (CWBC) was incorporated in the state of California on November 26, 1996, for the purpose of forming a bank holding company. On December 31, 1997, CWBC acquired a 100% interest in Goleta National Bank (GNB). On September 1, 2004, the bank's name was changed to Community West Bank (CWB). CWB is the only subsidiary of CWBC. CWBC provides management and shareholder services to CWB. Source
