Fundrise Balanced eREIT, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company recently formed to invest in and manage a diversified portfolio of assets primarily consisting of investments in commercial real estate, including commercial real estate loans and commercial real estate debt securities, development projects and other select real estate-related assets. We intend to operate in a manner that will allow us to qualify as a REIT for U.S. federal income tax purposes. Among other requirements, REITs are required to distribute to shareholders at least 90% of their annual REIT taxable income (computed without regard to the dividends paid deduction and excluding net capital gain).
