Middlefield Banc Corp. (the âCompanyâ) is an Ohio corporation organized to become the holding company of The Middlefield Banking Company (âMBCâ). MBC is a state-chartered bank located in Ohio. On October 23, 2009, the Company established an asset resolution subsidiary named EMORECO, Inc. The Company and its subsidiaries derive substantially all of their income from banking and bank-related services, which includes interest earnings on residential real estate, commercial mortgage, commercial and consumer financings as well as interest earnings on investment securities and deposit services to its customers through fifteen full-service locations.
