Ogdenâs Own Distillery began as an idea of Timothy Smith in the early 2000âs. While tinkering with different product concepts, Smith settled upon Underground Herbal Spirit as the product to first put Ogdenâs Own Distillery on the map. With the assistance of some fellow Utahns, Underground Herbal Spirit launched into Utah Department of Alcohol Beverage Control stores in August of 2009.
Since then, Ogdenâs Own Distillery has released Five Wives Vodka, Five Wives Heavenly & Sinful flavored vodkas, Porterâs Whiskey Flavored Liqueurs and Madam Pattirini Gin.
Ogdenâs Own Distillery products are now carried throughout the county. At last count, you can find Underground Herbal Spirit in 22 states. Theyâve made appearances in many favorite television shows and movies including The Big Bang Theory and Gone Girl.
Ogdenâs Own is the largest independent producer of spirits in Utah by volume, with Five Wives Vodka being the most popular brand of Utah produced spirits.
