What dating apps fail to recognize is that it's not the person who didn't "swipe right" on me that keeps me up at night. Rather, it's the person who locked eyes with me on a busy street on my way to work and flashed me the most beautiful smile that I ever saw. It isn't the person's photo that I saw while scrolling through hundreds of other photos that makes me think, "what if" ? It's the person who was carrying a book by my favorite author who glanced back at me just as I paid for my coffee only to turn around and notice they were gone. These are the moments that make up a "life", ones that can't be artificially duplicated. Perchance does not want to create an attraction. Perchance wants to enable it once it has already been established.
