Motze is an experimental limited-run restaurant featuring Japanese-inspired cuisine by Chefs Nick Balla and Cortney Burns, the masterminds behind the world-renowned Bar Tartine. In a matter of months, Balla and Burns took Bar Tartine from losing money to profitability. Now, they're bringing that expertise to a restaurant of their own. Motze will feature family-style set-menus and will run for only 18 months as a temporary restaurant in one of San Francisco's busiest food districts: the Mission. Source
