Virtuoso Surgical, Inc. was born out of a collaborative research effort developing surgical robotic systems at Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center among co-founders Robert Webster, Duke Herrell, and Richard Hendrick. In April 2016, they founded Virtuoso Surgical to bring the benefits of these systems to surgeons and patients worldwide.
At Virtuoso, we believe that surgeons can do amazing things when empowered with the right tools, and it is our job to create tools that unlock the full potential of their skill and experience to improve outcomes for their patients.
