West Bancorporation, Inc. is a bank holding company that owns 100% of the stock of one state-chartered banking subsidiary, West Bank (the Bank). The principal sources of Company revenue are from the Bank, which include interest and fees earned on loans made, service charges on deposit accounts, interest on fixed-income securities and trust fees. The Bank is a state-chartered commercial bank, originally organized in 1893 as First Valley Junction Savings Bank. It provides full-service banking services to businesses and consumers. West Bank has offices in the greater Des Moines, Iowa area, an office in Coralville, Iowa, and offices in Rochester, Owatonna, Mankato and St. Cloud, Minnesota.
