Online Ontario Cannabis Store Sells Out of Edibles Within Minutes

As Ontario’s online cannabis store went live earlier this month, more than 2,000 customers had placed their orders within the first hour. The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) website is operated by the Ontario government. Cannabis 2.0 legalized marijuana-infused edibles in Canada last fall and could mean some increased revenues in 2020 after disappointing cannabis flower sales towards the end of 2019.

Top seed-to-sale marijuana businesses like The Supreme Cannabis Company (TSX: FIRE, OTCQX: SPRWF) who produce flowers, edibles, and extracts for vaporizers have the most lucrative potential as supply attempts to keep up with demand in Ontario and throughout Canada.

“We know the licensed producers are working hard to make more products available and we’re confident that these growing pains will be moved through in relatively short order,” OCS spokesperson Daffyd Roderick said.
