Farming in the United States is, unfortunately, running out of both the people and the processes that it once had to be a thriving industry. As is the case with many sectors, experts believe that robotics could be the future. Hitch Robotics out of Oregon, could present both a farming option for the future and a unique investment opportunity.
According to its website, Hitch Robotics is creating “Autonomous Farm Robots for Cannabis.” These robots reportedly will not take jobs away from cannabis industry professionals, rather increase the number of cannabis farmers can harvest. Investing in the cannabis industry as a whole saw a bit of a downturn in 2019, but innovative businesses like Hitch Robotics could help turn that around in 2020 and beyond.
