Security Companies Could Profit Due Increase in Colorado Dispensary Burglaries

Burglaries are on the rise in Colorado, as U.S. cannabis dispensaries are forced to accept only cash only payments. Financial institutions deny most product-handling cannabis businesses because of the drug’s continued federal prohibition.

The rise in robberies and break-ins leads to dispensary employees being put in danger, and dispensaries beefing up their security. who are doing their jobs legally? Until federal banking regulations are changed for legal marijuana businesses, the need for maximum security measures at dispensaries is likely to continue.
