This Could Be a Breakout Sector for the Legal Cannabis Industry

Cannabis concentrates have been gaining in popularity recently, because they offer effects that are delivered more quickly than traditional smoking, and require less consumption than edible products. Concentrates are known as live resin, hash, shatter, butter and wax and are all similar, based on their consistency and potency.

All of these concentrates require a method of extraction - the most common of extraction methods currently being the CO2 and butane methods. Extracting cannabinoids like THC and CBD from cannabis requires equipment and consultants that know the ins and outs of said equipment. This is where equipment makers like the Florida-based company CO2 Meter and the California-based company Precision Extraction come into play.

Investors who are interested in potentially lucrative returns could look into these types of businesses in 2020, especially when extract legalization continues as we saw happen in Canada in 2019.
