Amazon’s FC Ambassadors are rising again on Twitter to rebuttal user posts discussing negative warehouse work conditions and the company’s anti-union views.
FCs are controversial since the accounts commonly change ownership access, and it was also confirmed that Amazon employees were using a professional social media tool to schedule posts. Amazon’s use of Twitter publicist makes others question the ethical landscape of the situation.
“FC ambassadors are employees who work in our FCs and share facts based on personal experience. It’s important that we do a good job educating people about the actual environment inside our fulfillment centers, and the FC ambassador program is a big part of that along with the FC tours we provide.” Lindsay Campbell, Amazon Spokesperson, explained.
