FaceApp is one of the most popular app store downloads for both Android and Apple devices, but the recent discovery of its data collection and privacy clause erupts further debate into how companies store and use consumer data. Democratic Senator Chuck Shumer urges for further investigation on the matter.

The FaceApps terms of service state that the company owns a never-ending and irrevocable royalty-free license to do anything they want with a user's content, including their face.
