Starting now, Google Photo users will get to feel nostalgic with a new memories gallery.
Although some media experts say this is just another attempt at creating stories, Google says they are taking a personalized approach to provide users with content they can reminisce on.
Shimrit Ben-Yair, Director of Google Photos , explains, “We’re using machine learning to curate what appears in Memories, so you don’t have to parse through many duplicate shots, and you can instead reflect on the best ones, where the photos have good quality and all the kids are smiling.”
