Popeye’s took to Twitter to announce the release of its new chicken sandwich that mimics some of the same ingredients in Chik-fil-A’s iconic original chicken sandwich.
After the announcement, Chik-Fil-A tweeted its sandwich prompting a response from Popey’s saying, “y’all good?” The passive-aggressive tone led to a number of other restaurants tweeting their menu items.
