Wix, Stella Artois, and Burger King are some name brands choosing to opt-out of running Super Bowl commercials.
Though some brands are choosing to completely avoid advertising during that day, Stella Artois is choosing to sponsor a Super Bowl event in Miami, where the game will be played.
Peter Van Overstraeten, a vice president at Stella Artois, explains, “It’s a matter of balancing and making sure our efforts are not lost in the big sea of messaging that’s going on.”
