Twitter says it will preserve Trump’s account for public interest even though his posts violate their violent speech policies.
The social media giant said it would only take action against a world leader if they were threatened an individual, promoting terroism or self-harm, or posted private information.
Twitter explains, “Presently, direct interactions with fellow public figures, comments on political issues of the day, or foreign policy saber-rattling on economic or military issues are generally not in violation of the Twitter Rules.”
