Verizon is positioned to sell Tumblr to Automattic Inc, the owner of WordPress. Current sources debate if the deal went below $20M or actually falling under $10M.
Social media platform, Tumblr, is a popular blogging site that lost some consumer interest over the past few years. Although an initial financial gain for Verizon, if Wordpress owners prove to increase their return on investment, then Tumblr may again top popular charts.
