Fears of a recession have helped drive down the price of stocks over the last week with the Dow plunging 800 points on Wednesday. However, during that period, of the 28 real estate stocks tracked by the Real Deal, a real estate industry publication, 15 were up. 

The [biggest gainer was Realogy](https://therealdeal.com/national/2019/08/15/real-estate-stocks-rally-despite-recession-fears/?utm_source=internal&utm_medium=widget&utm_campaign=feature_posts), which saw its stock price increase by over 2%.
