Coronavirus Panic Drags Down Mortgage Rates

Fear of the coronavirus has pushed down mortgage interest rates to 3.34% on the 30-year fixed mortgage, an 8-year low. Many believe that rates will sink further.

According to Matthew Graham, chief operating officer at Mortgage Daily News, “Both mortgages and Treasuries are feeling the impact of the Coronavirus panic. That’s pushing rates lower.”
