Despite Being at a Two-Decade High, Home Builder Confidence Nudges Lower in February

A survey showed that in February, U.S. homebuilder’s confidence declined even though it remains at a 20-year high, according to the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB).

Robert Dietz, Chief Economist at the NAHB said, “While lower mortgage rates have improved housing affordability in recent months, accelerating price growth due to limited inventory may offset that effect.”
