Popular Ethereum wallet app MetaMask has been suspended from the Google Play Apps store.
MetaMask, one of the most common entry points for distributed apps and other crypto-based systems, has been suspended from the Google Apps store for allegedly allowing for cryptocurrency mining on users’ phones. MetaMask denies that it allows mobile mining, and the issue is currently being reviewed by Google’s internal compliance teams.
