A comprehensive survey by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) revealed that 63% of consumers felt that this is a good time to buy a home, while 74% said it was also a good time to sell one. Older consumers with higher incomes were the most optimistic.
However, the Chief Economist at the NAR, Lawrence Yun, noted, “The fact that slightly fewer are expressing strong intensity compared to recent prior quarters is implying some would-be buyers have concerns about the direction of the economy”.
