In a quarterly survey conducted by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 63% of those polled said it was a good time to buy a home, and 74% said it was a good time to sell one. It is hoped that this optimism will trigger increased transaction volume in the U.S. housing market.
According to Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the NAR, “The mobility rate has been very low as many have opted to stay put longer. However, this latest boost – Americans saying now is a good time to move – is good news.”
