For years, large institutional investors profited from robust returns garnered from real estate investments, but now individual investors can participate in the category for as little as $2,500 with Jamestown, LP, a new $50 million fund. Demand for this product among small investors is growing because they are seeking higher yields in a low-interest-rate environment.
Jim Sullivan, president of the real estate research firm Green Street Advisors said this market is, “… a giant untapped pool of potential capital.”
