Realogy’s CEO sharply denied a claim made by Compass that they once floated the idea of selling themselves to Compass. The two companies have an ongoing war of words, much of it driven by Realogy’s July lawsuit against Compass claiming they employ unfair and monopolistic business practices.
Compass said the lawsuit was “an act of desperation” and was prompted by Realogy’s “rapidly eroding market share and a plummeting stock price”.
