Increase in aging population coincides with 25% reduction in available caregivers

Solutions needed to address caregiving for aging populations as the boomer population ages without a growing workforce to support their needs.

Over the next 35 years, the population of seniors aged 85 and over will triple, while the number of available caregivers will steadily decline. The state of Maine is the most heavily impacted state, due to steady growth in the retirement population offset by the decline of younger workers.
