Study Shows the Healthcare Sector Impacted by the Highest Percentage of Occupational Violence

    Up to 70% of occupational violence occurs in healthcare settings, a new study has shown. This abuse and disruption of the workplace increases the costs for companies through attrition, worker’s compensation claims, branding and legal exposure. To respond to this increased incidence, healthcare companies will need to increase training significantly to respond to increased regulatory and prevention requirements.
