Airbus Projects Demand for More than 39,000 New Airliners by 2038

    Based on current forecasts, the world’s fleet of passenger and freighter aircraft is expected to more than double by 2038. The projected fleet is expected to exceed 47,000 aircraft, more than 39,000 of which will be new aircraft.
