In its continuing quest to stay one step ahead of Bombardier’s Global Express family of business jets, Gulfstream presented a mockup of its new 19-passenger G700 at the 2019 National Business Aviation Association's convention. According to their press kit, the long-range Gulfstream G700 will have a top speed of Mach 0.925 and be able to fly 7,500 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 or 6,400 nm at Mach 0.90.

During a presentation at the convention, Gulfstream President Mark Burns described an impressive list of details: “This airplane has the tallest, widest, longest cabin in the industry.” According to the material provided, the aircraft will have seats for up to 19 passengers in five seating zones. There will be a circadian lighting system that can manage sunrise and sunset across time zones, and the galley is describe as an ultragalley. There is also an aft bedroom with a shower and lavatory.

The reported cost will be a cool $75 million, and deliveries are expected to begin in 2022.
