EIA says U.S. oil output hit an all-time record high of 12.66 million bpd in October

    U.S. oil production rose to 12.66 million barrels per day (bpd) in the month of October, according to data published by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on December 31. This is the highest monthly average ever recorded, Reuters noted on the same day.
