The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will start handing out the next round of waivers from ethanol content requirements to U.S. refinery operators by the end of August. Most refiners oppose the ethanol mandates, which are part of the government’s Renewable Fuel Standards (RFS) program.
