Linksys has developed a home security solution that offers benefits comparable to security cameras but without the privacy issues created by visual recordings.
Linksys has entered the home security market with its new Linksys Aware service, which claims to be able to use Wi-Fi to detect motion without the use of cameras or other types of sensors. Homeowners can access and control their Aware systems using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi app, and the service is compatible with the Linksys Velop Tri-Band AC2200. This is the first time this type of technology is being offered in a retail product.
