Microsoft’s HoloLens 2 augmented reality (AR)visor is [now available for retail customers](https://techcrunch.com/2019/11/07/microsofts-hololens-2-starts-shipping/) at a price of $3,500.

Microsoft’s updated AR device offers a wider field of view from the original, which only allowed users to interact with virtual objects through a small frame. The new HoloLens 2 is also lighter and more comfortable to wear with improved eye-tracking and user interface options.
