Mojo Vision’s AR contact lens technology is currently in demo version, but the well-funded startup is moving forward with FDA approval for the smart medical device.
The AR contact lenses come complete with heads-up display capabilities, eye movement trackers, and internet connectivity. The lenses last for approximately 25 hours on a single charge, and it has been fast-tracked for FDA approval thanks to the Breakthrough Device Designation the agency awarded the promising new product.
