Smart device maker Wyze Labs confirmed that an internal database holding millions of customer information was exposed to public access.
The Wyze data leak exposed email addresses of both the company’s customers and anyone else who gave permission to view the company’s camera feeds. Other information exposed in the breach included a list of cameras in customers’ homes and the tokens used to connect with other personal devices like smartphones and Amazon Alexa personal assistants. The security breach exposed customer data from December 4, 2019, until it was disclosed on December 26.
